Four Seasons is committed to being a responsible and caring community partner by having a positive economic impact and supporting community goals, both within and outside the hotel. We engage in innovative training and mentoring programmes for young people, support those in need and celebrate the diverse cultures where Four Seasons operates.
When the staff at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai learned about the great work Hui Xin Children’s Hospice is doing for kids living with cerebral palsy, they decided to help. The local hospice cares for roughly 130 children and has limited resources available to renovate its facilities.
At Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole, saving soap saves lives. That’s why the Resort donates all of its leftover shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soap to the not-for-profit, Clean the World.
It’s all about education at Four Seasons Hotel Prague. In 2005, the Hotel established a Hospitality Apprenticeship Program with local high schools and each year over 25 lucky students receive on-the-job training, Four Seasons style.
Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach is helping build its community – literally! Since 2006, the Resort has partnered with Habitat for Humanity for Palm Beach County to help build houses for low income, hard working families who would not otherwise be able to own a home.
Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai is helping youth break out of poverty through its Hospitality Apprenticeship Program. The two year program gives 17 to 21-year-old students the skills necessary to pursue careers in hospitality.
When it comes to the Richard House, there is not much Four Seasons Hotel London at Canary Wharf won’t do to raise funds for the hospice. Throughout the year, the Hotel hosts regular fundraising activities for the not-for-profit, including donation and clothing drives, raffles, and even carol singing.
It is often said that children are the heart of a community and this is certainly the case in Malaysia. That’s why Four Seasons Resort Langkawi is actively involved in the Adopt-a-School program with local school, Sekolah Menegah Air Hangat.
Every month, volunteers from Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay pack up groceries, kitchen supplies and sports equipment to deliver to 29 children at the local orphanage, Giri Asih.
Homelessness, poverty and addiction are all difficult matters to deal with. Thankfully, Torontonians facing these challenges can turn to the not-for-profit, United Way Toronto for assistance.
