Preserving Pinnacle Peak Park in Scottsdale

Pinnacle Peak Park in the Sonoran Desert has long been admired for its tranquil setting and beautiful trails. Now Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is working with the not-for-profit, Friends of Pinnacle Peak to ensure it remains a landmark for years to come.

The organisation was founded by area residents to preserve the natural desert habitat through educational activities and improvements to the Park.  Four Seasons employees participate in its Adopt A Road programme on a quarterly basis and assist with keeping the area free of garbage and debris.  Through this effort alone, employees have donated more than 150 volunteer hours to the Park to date.

The Resort also offers a Desert Preservation programme to educate guests about the desert flora and fauna.  Participants accompany a guide on a hike to learn about wildlife and to plant a native cactus and are provided with the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to Friends of Pinnacle Peak.  This complimentary and seasonal programme helps ensure the sustainability of the unique desert ecosystem.
